Homemade Decorations - Foil Ornaments

Ho Ho Ho Everyone,

Here is the next great idea from Mrs Claus for you to make your own tree decorations for your tree this year. I know it's going to be fantastic and I can't wait to see your hard work when I visit your home very soon.

Sheets of foil are twisted and scrunched into stars, balls, and canes, all hung with yarn. Turn cupcake liners inside out; stack, and then glue back-to-back; tie on yarn to hang. Poke string lights through small liners for a radiant glow.

More liners decorate a foil-covered cardboard star (with a toilet-paper tube back).

A silver mouse sits atop shining gifts.

Foil Ornaments How-To

For bell, cut away bottom third of cup; wrap cup in foil. Roll foil into clapper, catching end of yarn inside. Knot yarn about 2 inches above clapper; slip other end through hole in cup bottom. Loop to hang. For candy cane, roll two strips of foil into rods; twist together and shape. For star, fold rod into zigzag with ten sections; shape, and glue ends together; tie on yarn.

Foil Mouse How-To

1. Twist a small piece of aluminum foil into a tail.
2. Squeeze foil into a ball for mouse's body.

3. Cut a slit to the center of a small metallic doily; form a cone for the snout; secure with hot glue. Hot-glue snout to body; hot-glue on a tiny ball of foil for nose.

4. For ears, turn foil candy cups inside out; use red paper fasteners to pin cups to body, placing as shown. Glue on the tail.

Homemade Decorations - Ornaments and Garland

Ho Ho Ho Everyone.

It's just as well Mrs Claus talks in her sleep or else I would be having real problems here. Thank goodness she doesn't just mumble. Ho Ho Ho

Today we are going to make ornaments and garlands.

Two circles fit snugly together to form one ornament. To make, cut two disks identical in size from a card; you can use a circle punch, or trace a round object and cut with scissors. Cut a slit halfway across each disk. In one circle, punch a hole near the edge opposite the cut with a hole punch. Hold the disks so that the slits face each other. Slide the slit of one disk all the way into the other (you should feel the disks "lock").

Thread string through the hole, and tie a knot.

Make a garland by using disks popped out of cards with a circle punch (you can also trace a round object and cut out). They're attached to heavy thread with stickers; to make sure they're secure, rub with a craft stick.

Homemade Decorations - Recycled Tree: Cones

Ho Ho Ho Everyone.

Mrs Claus has another great idea for you and the children. Your tree can be made up of all your own decorations this year so make sure you don't miss any. I'll be giving you a new one to make each day.

Cones can be cut from plain colored paper or from greeting cards. To create, draw an arc onto a corner of the construction paper or card using a compass opened up as wide as it can go.

Using a pair of pinking shears, cut inside the line. Roll the paper into a cone and staple; reinforce with tape along the inside seam.

Homemade Decorations - Shaped Gingerbread Cookies

Ho Ho Ho Everyone.

Here is another great idea for you and the children to make for your tree this year. Make sure you leave some on the tree for me when I call by your home. :-)

Ingredients

Makes about 2 dozen town houses, 4 dozen deer or trees, or 6 dozen men

5 1/2 cups all-purpose flour, plus more for dusting
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
4 teaspoons ground ginger
4 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1 1/2 teaspoons ground cloves
1 teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg
2 sticks (16 tablespoons) unsalted butter, room temperature
1 cup packed dark-brown sugar
2 large eggs
1 1/2 cups unsulfured molasses

Directions

Whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, and spices in a medium bowl.
Beat butter and sugar with a mixer on medium-high speed until fluffy. Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in molasses. Reduce speed to low. Gradually add flour mixture, and beat until just combined. Divide dough into 3 portions, and wrap each in plastic. Refrigerate for 1 hour.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. On a generously floured piece of parchment, roll dough to a scant 1/4 inch thick. Brush off excess flour. Slide dough and parchment onto baking sheets, and freeze for 15 minutes.

Cut out desired shapes. Transfer to parchment-lined baking sheets, and freeze for 15 minutes.

Bake cookies for 6 minutes. Remove sheets from oven, and tap them firmly on counter to flatten cookies. Return to oven, rotating sheets, and bake until crisp but not darkened, 6 to 8 minutes more. Let cool on sheets on wire racks.

Spoon icing into a pastry bag fitted with a very small plain round tip (such as Ateco #0 or #1).

Pipe designs on cookies. Let cookies stand at room temperature until set, at least 2 hours (preferably overnight). Cookies can be stored between layers of parchment in airtight containers for up to 1 week

Make cookie doughs through step 3. For ornaments, use a small, plain pastry tip (such as Ateco #10) or a skewer to make a hole in the top of each house. Cut out doors and windows. Transfer houses, doors, and windows to parchment-lined baking sheets, and freeze for 15 minutes. Brush houses with a damp pastry brush, then decorate with doors and windows in contrasting color of dough. Freeze for 15 minutes. Bake cookies as directed, and let cool completely before decorating. Use a pastry bag fitted with a very small plain round tip (such as Ateco #0 or #1) to outline house, doors, and windows with royal icing. Decorate as desired, and let set overnight. Outline backs of cookies with icing, and let set. If you are making ornaments, tie ribbons through holes for hanging.

Now I hope that all makes sense. If not, ask Mrs Claus. She gave me this recipe and I can only say that up until now I have only been involved in the taste testing so Good Luck!! everyone. Happy cooking!!

Homemade Decorations: Recycled Christmas Cards

It's fun to receive holiday cards from loved ones near and far, but it's a shame to toss them away come the new year. All those snowmen, snowflakes, and other symbols of the season deserve more hang time.

With not much more than a pair of scissors, string, and glue, children can transform the cards of Christmas past into the decorations of Christmas present -- and create your family's own recycling center.

If you prefer vintage styles, you can find them at flea markets or on the Internet. Don't worry if parts of the paper are ragged; just use the good areas. So start hunting down those cards, then begin spreading the cheer.

Handmade Christmas Ornaments

Ho Ho Ho Everyone.

Here is something for the children to get started on for Christmas.

Watch a child's eyes light up as he or she unpacks an ornament they have made themselves and hangs it on the tree. There are few gladder moments all year. Now imagine a tree covered entirely in your child's handiwork. We've festooned five trees with seat-of-the-pants ingenuity, using yarn, cotton balls, tinfoil, and other things you can find around the house. Kids can copy these ideas or use them as inspiration for their own designs. You'll end up with an exuberant collection you'll all be proud to showcase year after year.

For the next few days I will be adding some great ideas for ornaments that the kids can make for your tree this year. Make sure you don't miss any :-)

Santa has been changing things again and today I am launching my new blog that is just for Children. Of course if you're a big kid aged 99 then you're welcome too Ho Ho Ho

Academy Awards have been Cancelled

I have decided not to proceed with the Academy Awards as my other Blog.. Santa's Blog of the Day is really fulfilling the same thing. I hope this doesn't upset anyone and i apologize if it does. However I have transferred the trophy to Santa's blog of the Day to be awarded to Santa's Blog of the Month

Well.... The new year is here with us and it's time to get everything movingagain now that the festive season is drawing to a close.

I know it will take a little while to get going but today I am launching Santa's Academy Awards. This will run for about 6 months with many awards along the way. Ultimately we will end up with grand prize winners for each nominated category. I'll leave it to you to name the categories. Basically if you think such a category should exist then make it so :-)

How it will all Work... Part 1

Ho Ho Ho Everyone

I just thought I would give you an update about Santa's New Extravaganzy that will be starting in the New Year

This event will run for a few months in two parts. Firstly I would ask you all to nominate blogs that you feel are deserving of recognition... as being the best of the best in their category. I will leave it to you to nominate the categories because everyone sees things differently.... But... There will be an award for the winner of every category that we end up with.

The second part will start once all of the nominations are in. It will then be up to each of you to vote for the winners. Yes... you can vote for yourself and naturally the more you get your friends and members involved and tell them about your nomination, the more votes you will get. There will be a button you can put on your blog to tell everyone of your nomination and asking them to vote for you.

I think this will be very exciting and there will be many other benefits that I will announce at the start of the competition.

If you wish I have already placed a nomination form on the page so that you can start nominating straight away if you wish. There will be a running total displayed on this page showing the number of votes each nominee has received.

So... now that I've got that out I might heard back to my fishing here on the lake as I enjoy my vacation with Mrs Claus.

A New Blog under Construction

Ho Ho Ho Everyone

Well Santa is rested and today I feel a little better and my energy is coming back.

The reindeer are just laying around snoozing but I don't blame them

The elves are all outside enjoying a game of football although I do think they are using the rules from ice hockey. No Matter!!!! Ho Ho Ho

To start the new year I am doing some cleaning up if you hadn't already noticed. Some blogs will go and others will change to fit better with the coming time of the year. I have many things planned and hopefully won't ge harassed in future so that I stay online and get to do all of the things that i have planned.

This blog will shortly introduce the Santa Academy Awards. I will be selecting blogs that appeal to me and you will be voting on them. It won't just be the same old blogs but a lot of new ones too. I think it will be very exciting. there will be different categories and awards for the winners of each. It will all be up to you... the voters/readers.

Santa visits Hawaii and then heads home!!

Santa has arrived in Hawaii. He and the reindeer must be very tired after such a long long trip

Santa will now go back and visit the many homes where children had not gone to sleep on his first run and when that is finished he will be heading home to the North Pole for a well deserved break

Merry Christmas everyone. We hope you have enjoyed our broadcasts over the past 24 hours as Santa made his journey around the world.

Santa arrives in Brazil

Satellite images have verified that Santa has in fact reached Brazil in South America.

He has such a huge job to do here. So many countries and lots of children. It should keep him busy for a while. Apparently Santa's sleigh was seen doing a loop around the Christ the Redeemer Statue before heading into Rio de Janeiro. A fitting tribute from the man in red.

Santa Travels across the Atlantic

Santa looks like he is finishing the last of Europe and is about to head south across the Atlantic towards Brazil and the South American countries.

It should be an easy ride across the ocean and I'm sure many of the large ships will blast their airhorns as a welcome to Santa as he flies overhead on his way south west.

Santa crosses the Channel to Great Britain

Boats located on the Channel between England and France have reported by radio that they have seen a bright red light streaking overhead high up in the sky.

This can only mean one thing. Santa is right on time for entering Great Britain. There are still reports of people hearing Santa's booming Ho Ho Ho as he passes overhead.

Apparently there was a huge cloud of sand blowing in the wind after it was reported that a red comet zoomed through the pyramids.

Some people feared that a catastrophe was about to hit but many realized in time that it was just Santa zooming his way across the country.

Santa in Russia

Santa has entered the great country of Russia.

There have been dozens of reports coming in from the citizens of Russia saying that they have seen Santa zoom over them at a fantastic speed.

There were also reports that the sleigh was seen on the ground near a small lake and Santa apparently was soaking his feet in the water while the reindeer had a drink. Of course this is unconfirmed.

It won't be long till I am in my sleigh and on my way to you. Remember, no peeking!!!

The elves have packed the sleigh and everything is ready to go. Mrs Claus has filled me up with lots of cookies and milk and of course I'll be getting all of your treats along the way to keep my energy up.

The reindeer are so eager to get going. Rudolph has been polishing his nose all morning with extra polish to get it really shiny so that he will light our way.

Santa has arranged so that this year you can follow me on my journey around the world. Make sure you check back often for updates as I make my way delivering all of the toys for all of the girls and boys.

A Message from Santa Claus

Ho! Ho! Ho! Everyone

I want to apologize to everyone for not being online much lately. It is an important time of the year when Santa should be here and I am very aware of that.

Unfortunately, there is a person here in BlogWorld who seems intent on making sure that I am not part of the Christmas Season here at MBL this year.

Every time I log on, or check an email or anything I am immediately targeted and then have to go about fixing my computer yet again. Si far to date I have had to reformat my hard drive 5 times and then reload and configure all of the software. Each time seems to be different and it sometimes takes me days to get back online.

Just a word to the person doing it... I know who you are and so far have resisted the urge to publicly discredit you. It is not my nature to be negative or revengeful but it is nearly at the time when I will be forced to name you in the hope that that will stop you from this continual harassment that you seem intent on.

All I want to do is bring cheer and happiness and peace and joy and love to all of you at this special time and it hurts me more than I can say that I have been continually stopped from doing so.

I intend to stay online as much as possible but if I disappear once more unexpectedly you will know why and I do apologize for it. It's my job as Santa to bring the Christmas cheer to all of you and it hurts me to be unable to do that properly.

May Christmas be that special time that you expect and may all of your wishes come true. Please remember though the true meaning of Christmas this and every year is to celebrate the birth of Jesus, the Christ child. That is what Christmas really IS all about.

Merry Christmas to all of you and thank you for your support and loyalty over the past few months. It has been a wonderful experience.

Ok, here it goes I haven't had that many memorable Christmas's as I was not raised with my family. I remember living in a foster home and all the prezzies that my mom would send to me were taken away! Sad but true. The holidays are such a hard time for me even tho I am an adult now so I just try not to think about it! One year I bought myself off Ebay The Beatles Christmas cut-out records. Music has always helped me thru all the horrible times that I lived thru.. The Beatles and their music is so magical and happy I always wished I was part of the Beatle family! So I say the Beatles are the farway family that I never had. I do get choked up just writing this letter. I still believe in miracles & the spirit of Christmas and when I am sad or thinking of the less fortunate, I play some Beatles music and it magically goes away. Not everyone has had a family and I envy the people that have one and take them for granted! Firstly, many thanks to Santa for inviting me to co-author Santa's Community Blog and welcome to Auntie Dar, Eric, Janice, Judy, Martje, Sandee and Surjit as new co-authors too.

Wow, is Blog Elf in for a surprise, especially as he likes to call me eeeeeeek the ghost!! Mind you, he's probably far to busy eating his Frog Sandwiches.

Isn't Christmas a wonderful time of year? Yes, there's a great deal of hustle and bustle, shopping to be done, work to be finished, gifts to wrap, cards to write and much more.

The Magi followed the Star of Bethlehem, bearing gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh as gifts for the Christ, born the King of the Jews. Now, traditionally, it is an annual holiday when we celebrate the birth of Jesus with traditions that vary around the world, but the sentiments are the same, we promote goodwill, compassion and peace for all mankind.

We celebrate with Midnight Mass, singing the praises of the Lord on this magical day. Children act out the Nativity at schools, churches and halls, while waiting (sometimes impatiently) for the arrival of the jolly man in red known as Santa Claus in the early hours of Christmas morning, when all good children should be asleep.

I have many memories of Christmas Past, it is a mesmerizing time of year. Many years ago, my father took a picture of me ( above) pinching a chocolate off the Christmas Tree, caught in the act as it were!! Mind you, that was many years ago, I have aged a little since then.

In more recent years, I have my own daughter who was fortunate to meet Santa on many occasions. Here she is 3 years old and sat on Santa's knee. Now she is 14 years old, and still anticipates Christmas and has been counting down the days since the end of July hahahaha.

Now then, do not forget to write your letters to Santa, as he's a very busy man and his elves will be working overtime to satisfy the child in all of us.

Well we are in the final stages of this months competition. Four days to go and it will be all over and we will have a winner. For this month!!

At the moment we have a clear leader by a mile. As we get closer to Christmas let's all dust off our Santa hats and get in the spirit. It doesn't hurt to ask silly occasionally. Just as me!! I'm an expert.

Santa's elf Club Competition

Ho! Ho! Ho! Everyone

I have been speaking to Mrs Claus about our Christmas dress up competition. She's a bit disappointed about the number of entries we've had. Three in fact. Still the three we have had have been absolutely fantastic and both Mrs Claus and I had a wonderful time looking at them.

I sometimes forget that just because I live surrounded by all things Christmas all year round that you don't unless you're like Adrian from First Time Dad who has a collection of all different figurines of me. Personally I think he would have been better with horses or ducks perhaps but I do understand that he does have very good taste!!

I case you hadn't noticed it is now only 127 days to Christmas. Those days will go so quickly!!

Anyway... mrs Claus and I have decided that we will expand the competition so that we will also start another category with another prize of a free membership to Santa's Elf Club. So..... from now on you can still send your photos of your kids, dogs, cats, horses, ferrets... anything dressed up like Santa or wearing a Santa or elf hat.. and now you can also send in your best story about a Christmas that you've had. Both will get a prize.

At the moment there is a clear winner in the photo competition but it isn't over yet. The leader placed the vote button I provided on her blog site and then actively asked all of her friends to vote for her. Being proactive always wins!!

Thankyou to everyone who has participated so far. It has been wonderful and will continue to be. Keep sending in those photos and now those stories!!

This one is from Heather Dugan from "Footsteps" and she writes:

Hi Santa!

This is my son Matt and his Great-Grandma Mary in one of my favorite moments from last Christmas season. I took this photo the afternoon that we took Grandma, several of her great-grandchildren and my dog Lily caroling, room-to-room, at Grandma’s care center. The kids wore blinking noses, and Santa and Elf hats and the youngest elves handed out chocolate kisses as we sang. Grandma was a new and somewhat reluctant resident after breaking her hip that September. She so enjoyed going caroling and sharing her great-grandchildren with her new neighbors; they thanked her many times over (She had her 92nd birthday in June!).

Santa's Elf Competition

Ho! Ho! Ho! Everyone.

There I was this morning sitting at the breakfast table eating my cookies and drinking my milk and reading the latest edition of the Elf News. I try to keep up to date with everything that's happening and this particular tabloid has all the important news about things that I need to know. Things like.. what is the current price of magic reindeer food at the elf and dime store or where do I get hold of an old 1948 jeep in mint condition that Fred in Phoenix wants for Christmas this year. I'd be lost without it!!

Anyway... Santa does tend to ramble....

As I was trying to eat my cookies and read my Elf News, Mrs Claus suddenly says to me, "Santa, why don't you run a competition"? What's that Dear, "a competition". What kind of competition do you have in mind. I was particularly interested because Mrs Claus has some wonderful ideas sometimes and they are always a lot of fun.

After getting the details from Mrs Claus the idea is this...... Santa wants everyone to send in a photo of their children, or dog or cat or anything else that happens to be lurking around your house wearing a Santa or elf costume. It doesn't matter if you make the costume or even what it is. I'll leave it to you. You can send your photos to me here at my email address and I will be awarding a prize at the end of each month up till Christmas.

The prize will be a free membership to Santa's Elf Club... that means you will become an honorary elf and get all the privileges that go with that. If you want to know more you can go to Santa's web site and see what you get.

I will post every entry no matter how many and it will include a link back to you. If there are 100 a day then they will all go on here for you all to enjoy... not just me.

So..... get out those cameras, dress up the kids (or dogs, cats, rodents, skunks, horses, cows.... OK you get the idea) and send them here to me at my email address and the rest will be history.

Of course the winner each month will get a special write up just to celebrate their win.

Santa's Magic Key

Ho! Ho! Ho! Everybody. It's wonderful to be here again chatting to you about all the important things that are happening in the world. Things that really matter like how on earth does Santa really get down the chimney with that big fat belly of his.

Well!!! Hey Mrs Claus!! Cut that out!! My belly isn't that big. It is not I tell you!! Not as big as my bu.... Well. thank you very much. I'll get back to talking to all of these lovely people.

Now you ask how does Santa get down a chimney when he is too... big... or if there isn't even a chimney. More to the point how do I get out after eating all of those cookies and drinking all of that milk. A very good question that I have heard a lot on here lately so I will try to explain.

You may have read one of my previous messages talking about how Santa can travel so far and deliver so many presents in one night. The answer basically is that Santa does not follow the laws of physics. I follow the laws of Santa!!!

Basically this questions isn't as involved or difficult as the other issues about travel etc. You see the reality is that I have a magic key when there is no chimney. Getting up and down chimneys that are smaller than me is easy too because I use magic to make the chimney fit me and not the other way around.

My key can fit any lock through magic. It can open any window. Any door. No don't worry. I only use it on Christmas Eve and only to deliver presents. I promise that thieves can't get it and use it at other times. It's locked away safe and sound in a magic box that only I and Mrs Claus can open. Not even the elves are able to because... well they're elves and Mrs Claus and I are not. A basic fact!!

My magic key uses the same basic power that we use to make the special magic food that we feed the reindeer so they can fly. You'll just have to believe me because the formula for making these things uses 7 special herbs and spices known only to myself and Mrs Claus so I can't ever tell anyone how that works. Mrs Claus has signed a confidentiality agreement so she is bound to secrecy as well!!

So, there you have it! I have placed a photo of my key on here so you can see that it's real. Besides Santa would never tell you a made up story.

What does it take to become an Elf

Ho! Ho! Ho! Everyone!

It's a lovely day at the North Pole today. The sun is shining and it's so warm that I even decided to take off my big red jacket and get some rays while I can. It's not every day the temperature gets as high as -20 degrees so I thought I would make the most of it.

You may wonder why I decided to start this Elf Club and I thought it might be best if I explain why to you.

I'm not sure what people imagine of the elves. I know Santa hogs the spotlight and sometimes the elves are forgotten about apart from everyone imagining them toiling away all day and night making toys in Santa's workshop. However this isn't so. There was a time maybe 200 years ago when things weren't so organised and I still hadn't quite worked out how to "dimension hop" in my sleigh to deliver all the toys on time on Christmas eve but thankfully things have changed. The elves play a vital role in all of this.

These days we have elves whose job it is just to keep the "Naughty and Nice" database up to date every day. A huge task if you ask me but they do it so well and accurately and provide Santa with a printout each day to keep me up to date. While I'm on that subject I must mention Sally in Denver. Sally, I have to say what you did the other day getting that cat out of the tree was fantastic. Things like that are noticed by Santa and help me keep my book right. Well Done!!!

We then have the elves whose job it is just to program the sleigh GPS system for the big trip on Christmas Eve. A huge job. You can imagine having to keep track of all the new boys and girls that are born each year and fitting them into the trip computer so that no one misses out. Rupert, the head programmer elf has a fantastic team and I would take my hat off to him if it wasn't already off because I'm catching some sun. Well done Rupert!!!

Next come the elf reindeer keepers. What a job they have. Apart from feeding and grooming all the reindeer (we have 42 at last count because we have backups) and keeping the equipment in good condition they also have to spend time with flying lessons for the young reindeer that are new to training as well as working with the GPS programming elves to make sure Rudolph learns the route in time so no one misses out. Another huge task!!! Well Done!!!

It doesn't stop there. I haven't mentioned all the elves who work in Santa's Workshop making all the toys. These guys are fantastic!! It never ceases to amaze me the job they do. They have to check the "Naughty and Nice" book and then check the Wish List database to make sure who is getting what and then they have the huge job of making the toys. Apart from that there are elves that get the materials to make things and well as the storeman elf in charge of supplies and equipment, the elves whose job is just to pack and wrap. It goes on and on and on!!! Well Done to you hard working elves!!

I haven't even mentioned the elves who work in Mrs Claus kitchen helping out. What a huge job done with no grumbling mainly because they are always snacking and their mouths are full. Ho! Ho! Ho! Their bellies will be as big as mine soon. Mrs Claus does a wonderful job and I love the tasty treats she makes for me and the elves. Well done to all!!!

There are so many more elves doing so many different jobs. I'll talk about what others do another time but I have to say that Santa is so grateful to each and every one. Santa loves every last one.

But this doesn't explain why I started Santa's Elf Club. The reason is very simple. Santa needs more elves!! I know that children who join the club can't and won't move t0 the North Pole with me but there are so many things that Elf Club Members can do. Apart from enjoying all the fun and games and activities that Santa has created in the clubhouse, Elf Club members can keep an eye out for children who are doing the right thing and let Santa know. It keeps my Naughty and Nice book up to date and that is very important.

Elf Club Members can also do simple things for Santa like keeping an eye on weather reports in case things get nasty. I need to know these things and I have set up a special email address so that Elf Club members can contact me direct. Santa@santa-mail.com

Keep that to yourself because that is the special direct line and we don't want to clog it up when Santa needs important information to get through quickly. You can send emails to Santa though and let me know how you are and what you are doing and that can be at any time of the year. Santa is always watching... not just at Christmas time.

Lastly Elf Club members get a bonus. Santa will write to you personally around Christmas just to say Hi!! You also have Santa's special permission to dress up in elf clothes and use the special ID card and certificate that Santa provides each member.

How did Santa ever survive without computers. I wish I'd had these when I first started about 500 years ago. You don't want to know how much work it all was back then with quill pens and parchment. Oh well!!! I know Mrs Claus...... I'm living in the past again.

Hi everyone.

I was just checking my "Naughty and Nice" database on the computer (I still have a hardcopy book ... you know system crashes) and thought I would just drop by and say hello.

You know, not many people think about Santa's Elves. They work so hard and Santa gets all the praise. Without them I would be nothing. They don't complain (well, not often anyway) and they just keep on working and working always with their eye on the clock go get everything done. Amd let's not mention Christmas Eve. Those little guys are incredible. I love them as my children.

Santa has often wondered how to share the special place he has for his Elves and that's why I started the Elf Club. It's a special place only for members with lots of special things for them and well as plenty of fun and things to make and do.

It's my way of saying thankyou.

Well must go for now. Rudolph won't turn off his nose till I give him a good rub and with all of that light none of us will get to sleep.

Hidden in the magical underground grottoes, Santa's little helpers, the Elves, work for long hours all year round making Christmas presents for the children of the world.

Some of the elves are only young and learning what to do whilst most toil happily hour after hour, under Santa's constant supervision, making wonderful things for all the girls and boys.
